“Customer Service SR Representative effectively handles inbound calls from Cigna Medicare customers that are interested in changing from one Cigna plan to another. The successful candidate will be able to interact appropriately and efficiently with customers using excellent interpersonal and listening skills, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. The ability to use computer-based resources in a highly effective manner to educate and provide accurate responses to inquiries is crucial for success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inbound calls from current customers seeking support to change to another Cigna Medicare product
- Place outbound calls to customer to obtain more information on applications
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all products and procedures
- Responds to all customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Participates in meeting and/or committees as needed.
- Maintain active license and appointment in all Cigna Medicare markets
- Value all aspects of diversity
- Exercise strict confidentiality in all matters
QUALIFICATIONS
- Adaptable, flexible, and able manage through change

- Demonstrated communications (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and fosters a team environment
- Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a high volume call center environment and insurance sales, Medicare Advantage preferred
- Preferred License insurance agent with residential state or in the process of obtaining license
- Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
- Experience analyzing and solving customer problems required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; high level capacity to multitask independently and on a computer
- Proven ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team
- Skilled in Microsoft Programs
- Training experience preferred
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 – 21 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
