The hourly base pay for this role is $23-$30. The company also offers an attractive benefits package.

  • Become an expert in AppFolio Property Manager features, best practices, and common workflows.
  • Handle 15+ mixed weighted difficulty requests in a full day in their queue.
  • Can achieve at least 35 replies by email, phone, and balance time for troubleshooting advanced issues and deeper client engagements via Zoom.
  • Maintain core KPIs: CSAT of 90+, Average response time of <2 hours, Average 5 Chats per hour, 65%+ of Cases closed <24 Hours.

This is the ideal position for motivated individuals with a genuine interest in helping others, a strong desire to learn, and advanced attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Master the AppFolio Property Manager product through our formal onboarding program and continued learning.
  • Work within a small team to manage an allocated queue of customer requests.
  • Provide timely responses to customer support inquiries via phone, email, chat, & virtual meetings.
  • Maintain an organized queue of open support requests.
  • Provide product training to increase customer product knowledge.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing distinctive service in all interactions.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize SalesForce to manage all customer interaction and inquiries.
  • Utilize Zoom to provide efficient face-to-face customer service.
  • Understand product roadmap of future updates to better handle client requests.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the Product team based on client interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risk and reduce customer churn.
  • Receive direction from Manager and guidance from fellow CCRs .
  • Serve as an AppFolio brand ambassador to create promoters within the industry.
  • Represent the Client Services department at offsite & virtual meetups with customers and prospects.
  • Assist in the building out of customer-facing Help Resources, including help articles, tutorials, videos and FAQs.

What You Bring:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong curiosity and desire to learn
  • Exceptional customer relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities for advanced problem-solving
  • AppFolio Property Management software knowledge preferred
  • Property Management industry knowledge preferred

EXTRA CASH: Lowish Pay, Flexible Hours… Great Mission Helping Keep Students Safe Online

Cyberbullying, threats of violence, drug use, suicidal intentions… we’ve all seen the news stories about how badly things can go for kids when things go sour on the internet.

In this role, as a work from home Content Reviewer, you can help keep students safe online. Set your own schedule, “minimum 10 hrs. per week.”

Gaggle monitors K-12 student email and other communications for content of concern to schools and parents. Gaggle hires people to work from home to do the monitoring.

No state hiring restrictions mentioned, no college required.

This is a lower-paying, independent contractor gig. It pays about $10/hr (Note: Independent contractors are not covered by minimum wage laws). On the flip side, it can get cashflow going and provide the work from home experience that many hirers prefer. As always, it depends on your unique needs.

  • Access to a computer, chromebook, or laptop (tablets/phones are not acceptable)

Responsibilities
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talks to customers over the phone, email, online chat or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Maintains and updates customer information as necessary
  • Calmly attempts to resolve and de-escalate any issues
  • Escalates calls to supervisor when necessary and appropriate
  • Responds to requests for assistance and/or possible processing of credit card authorizations
  • Tracks call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Provides feedback reports on call issues related to downtime and/or training issues
  • Upsells to customers as necessary

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Phone-related customer service a major plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel applications
  • Bilingual language skills a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Stellar customer service skills – and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time
  • Ability to use phone and computer systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Customer Service Representative

SHIFT: Tuesday – Saturday 2:30- 11:00pm ET

Why We Need You

  • Responsible for the transaction processing associated with the operation of the Customer Service Communications Center and the Field Service organization.
  • Monitoring the notification of Field Service personnel and communicating any issues to CSCC management.
  • Screening and routing of telephone calls from customers and employees, and filing.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Logging all customer issues in the Service Management System.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards.
  • Conducting customer satisfaction surveys; update current job skills regularly; ability to perform to defined standards and carry out special work assignments.
  • Work in a team environment while participating as a team member focused on continuous improvement and total customer satisfaction.
  • Mentoring and training new Customer Service Representatives
  • Provide information to all customers when required.
  • Analyze the urgency of a customers’ problem; interface with all customers, which requires tactful and discreet communications skills.
  • Additional contacts are PAR and third-party service management and field engineers.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of customer service experience.
  • Experience in dealing with multi-line and heavy phone volume.
  • Advanced typing and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.”
