RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer inbound calls from members and customers regarding their insurance benefits.
  • An average of 30-40 calls are expected daily.
  • You are expected to take calls back to back while toggling through several applications on multiple screens.
  • Availability to attend 100% training and the first 90 days of employment.
  • Resolve customer complaints through independent problem-solving skills and one-call resolution.
  • Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience is required.
  • Must have a minimum internet speed of 10 Mbps download and 5mbps upload (No satellite internet is allowed).

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong organization skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful even when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Foster teamwork and partnership with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and improve customer experience.

The Cigna Group has entered into an agreement with Health Care Service Corporation (“HCSC”) to purchase The Cigna Group’s Medicare Advantage, Cigna Supplemental Benefits, Medicare Part D and CareAllies businesses (the “Acquired Businesses”). This role, Customer Service Representative, is within the Acquired Businesses and will transition to HCSC upon the closing of the proposed transaction.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 – 23 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
