Thuma, a luxury wood furniture company (you’ve probably seen their online ads), has posted a Remote Customer Experience Associate job to their careers page.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service for the brand. This will include tracking order statuses, resolving service issues, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, and building brand loyalty.

Applicants should have 1-2 years of previous experience in customer support, retail, hospitality, or a similar service role; strong communication skills; availability to work occasional weekends and holidays; and the willingness and ability to work cross-functionally. Extra points if you’re familiar with Shopify and Gladly.

Hiring in the United States, with no mention of any states being excluded. That said, you must be able to work EST or PST hours.

The posted pay rate for this position is $20 – $28 an hour.

  • Address customer inquiries promptly and accurately within our SLA.

Compensation & Benefits

$20 – $28 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Independently resolve a high volume of inbound tickets across phone, email, and chat channels, meeting SLAs while delivering exceptional service.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide clear, actionable solutions to customers.
  • Conduct proactive customer outreach initiatives to minimize recurring issues and improve overall satisfaction.
  • Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to maintain a reliable and efficient workflow, taking full ownership of your results.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:

  • 2+ years of customer success experience or Account Management, B2B Sales, or Customer Service in a B2B environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems in a business to business (B2B) environment.
  • Experience in Process Improvement, Decision Making, Managing Processes, Planning, Analyzing Information, Developing
  • Standards, Service Excellence, Negotiation and Influencing skills
  • Ability to switch gears quickly and adapt to change effectively
