Mondelēz, the company that brings you world-famous Nabisco products like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and others, has posted openings for Full-Time and Part-Time Nabisco Merchandisers.

Before we dig in, please bear in mind that these roles require local travel to stores where Nabisco products are sold. That said, we’ve had many Rat Race Rebels land jobs with them over the years, and overall they seem to love the flexibility the role often allows.

In this role, you will represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representative to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays. You will ensure Nabisco brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained, and follow a daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.

You will be using your personal vehicle to travel to stores in your area, and you should be at least 18 years old and have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID, and proof of valid auto insurance.

MILEAGE WILL BE REIMBURSED!

Applicants should have a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently; be able to lift, bend, and carry up to 25 pounds; and the ability to download and use work related applications on your personal device.

The pay range varies from state to state, but generally seems to run from about $14/hour to $19.50/hour.

  • Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representative to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
  • Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
  • Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
  • Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
  • Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
  • Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
  • Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

  • Driving processes that streamline the compliance processes; recommending automation that streamlines and improves the accuracy of compliance processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm CST
  • High school diploma or GED required with previous compliance work experience, some college preferred.
  • Strong verbal (both in person and phone) and written communication skills that can be flexed to fit a broad spectrum of situations.
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail leading to high quality work product.
  • A strong sense of accountability and work ethic with the ability to manage work independently.
  • Superior judgment and critical thinking skills to make a well evaluated decision regarding state regulations and company operating procedures.
  • Positive, resilient, consistent, customer-centric attitude. Patient, team-oriented demeanor.
  • Ability to analyze account documentation and device usage/history.
  • Computer skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with
  • Microsoft Access and SharePoint preferred.
  • Effective problem solving skills used to identify efficiency, quality and/or service improvements to the work assigned.
