Sedgwick is a global claims management and insurance services company that supports individuals and businesses after loss events such as fires, floods, and natural disasters.
In this role, you’ll evaluate lists of damaged household items, research replacement costs online, and document accurate valuations for insurance claims. The work is structured, research-driven, and largely back-office, with limited or no customer phone interaction. This role is well-suited for candidates with administrative, retail, claims, or data-entry experience who prefer focused, non-sales work.
This is a fully remote role, however candidates must reside in Michigan (MI), Wisconsin (WI), Nebraska (NE), Minnesota (MN), Kansas (KS), Iowa (IA), Missouri (MO), South Dakota (SD) or North Dakota (ND).

Evaluate and document household contents values for insurance claims using research, pricing tools, and standardized procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review contents inventories related to insurance claims
- Research replacement costs using online and internal tools
- Document pricing and evaluations accurately
- Apply established valuation guidelines and procedures
- Maintain quality and productivity standards
- Collaborate with internal claims teams as needed
Relevant Experience & Skills
- Administrative, retail, claims, or data-entry experience
- One (1) year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Comfortable researching prices online
- Basic computer and spreadsheet skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Resident Insurance Adjuster License (Fire and Other Hazards) preferred.
- Accounting and insurance background are preferred
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated compensation for this role is $19.00 – $20.00/hr. + benefits
