As a Customer Support Specialist, your mission is to provide Whop users with exceptional support. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for users and creators, resolve issues efficiently, and work closely with internal teams to improve the overall support experience. This role reports to the Head of Trust.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users and creators via Intercom
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with clear, easy-to-follow guidance
  • Escalate complex issues and share product feedback with internal teams
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through responsive, friendly support
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Take ownership of issues and go above and beyond to create a positive customer experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or running your own business
  • Familiarity with Whop as a buyer or seller
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with fast response times
  • Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems creatively

Schedule & Shifts

This is a fully remote role with the following available shifts:

  • 12:00 am EST to 8:00 am EST
  • 8:00 am EST to 4:00 pm EST
  • 4:00 pm EST to 12:00 am EST

Weekend shifts are rotational, and availability on some weekends is required.

First 90 Days

  • First 30 days: Learn Whop’s product, Intercom workflows, and performance metrics
  • First 60 days: Confidently escalate complex issues and share product feedback with engineering teams
  • First 90 days: Meet or exceed performance targets and help create a standout support experience for users

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated compensation for this role is $48,000/yr.
