SmartAsset, an online financial technology and consumer education company, has posted a Remote Client Experience Specialist opening to their careers page.

In this role, you would engage directly with consumers who are seeking financial guidance, making outbound calls to connect them with vetted fiduciary financial advisors. You’ll serve as the frontline voice of the company—helping users navigate the connection process, scheduling consultations, and ensuring every experience is smooth and positive.

Applicants should have at least one year of high-volume call center experience, strong communication and time-management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Experience meeting quotas and managing conversion metrics is key, as is comfort working with CRM systems and multitasking.

The posted pay rate is $45,000 base salary plus $15,000 variable commission, with equity and a full suite of benefits.

The company is hiring from the contiguous United States (all states except AK and HI).

About the Job
SmartAsset is seeking energetic sales professionals who are passionate about developing relationships and improving user experiences. As a Client Experience Specialist, you will join the fastest-growing part of the business, helping thousands of Americans connect with fiduciary financial advisors.

This is a remote position with a fixed schedule of Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls (200+ per day) to connect consumers with financial advisors.

  • Meet or exceed performance goals and conversion metrics.

  • Serve as a trusted guide to users throughout the advisor-connection process.

  • Proactively contact interested users to schedule advisor consultations.

  • Log all user interactions and feedback in the company’s CRM system.

  • Escalate recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.

  • Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional partners on initiatives and projects.




Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of high-volume call center experience required.

  • Comfortable working in a quota-driven, metrics-focused environment.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.

  • Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be available to work some holidays or weekends during peak seasons.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000 base + $15,000 variable commission + equity.
