SKYGEN, a technology and service solutions company serving dental and vision benefits payers and government agencies, has posted a Remote Provider Data Management Representative I opening to their careers page.

In this role, you would manage provider directories by entering and updating data for new and existing records, performing audits, and resolving discrepancies. You’ll research data issues, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and ensure provider information is accurate and compliant with company and CMS requirements.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of experience resolving customer or client issues, managing large amounts of data, and identifying discrepancies. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities are essential. SQL experience is preferred.

The posted pay rate is $17.88–$26.81 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

SKYGEN is looking for a problem solver who thrives on accuracy and efficiency. As a Provider Data Management Representative I, you’ll handle provider directories, data entry, audits, and research while coordinating with clients and internal departments to ensure information is up to date and correct.

This position is fully remote, with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Central Time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Enter new provider records and terminate outdated ones in the Enterprise system.

  • Review and correct rejected data and research discrepancies.

  • Perform quarterly verification of provider data in line with company and CMS procedures.

  • Collaborate with Provider Relations and Client Services to resolve data issues and provider inquiries.

  • Maintain updated data for client and internal networks using automated systems.

  • Serve as a liaison across departments to address provider complaints and escalations.

  • Process EFT setup requests and assist with contracting, fee, or claims issues related to provider data.




Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or data management.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage changing priorities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher.

  • 1–2 years in provider data management.

  • Familiarity with dental, medical, or therapy terminology.

  • Experience with internal software systems and SQL.




Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $17.88–$26.81/hour (midpoint $22.35/hour).

  • Fully remote, full-time role with weekday hours.
