In this role, you would manage reorder requests for medical supplies, verify insurance eligibility, communicate coverage details to customers, coordinate with payers and distributors, and process payments to ensure timely shipment of products. The Customer Care Reorder Representative I ensures efficient processing of medical supply reorders, maintaining positive customer experiences by verifying insurance, handling inquiries, and facilitating orders.
Job Responsibilities:

Process assigned reorder accounts, including insurance verifications and confirming customer information.

Verify coverage, deductibles, coinsurance, and confirm that CMNs (Certificates of Medical Necessity) are valid prior to shipping.

Communicate insurance and financial responsibility details clearly to customers.

Coordinate with third-party payers, distributors, and case managers to complete orders.
-
Collect payments for out-of-pocket amounts before shipment.
-
Create Purchase Orders for distributors.
-
Adhere to company policies, federal regulations, and confidentiality standards.

Provide excellent customer service and problem resolution.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year experience with insurance eligibility verification.

Minimum 1 year experience calculating deductibles and coinsurance for primary and secondary policies.

Background knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in a relevant field.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong decision-making, communication, organization, and priority-setting skills.
