Attentive is a SaaS marketing platform used by brands to communicate with customers through messaging channels like SMS.

In this remote Customer Support Specialist role, you would support users via live chat and email, troubleshoot platform issues, and help customers resolve account and technical questions.

This position is best suited for candidates with prior customer support experience in a SaaS or technical environment who are comfortable working Eastern Time hours. The company is hiring from the United States.

Provide first-line customer support via email and live chat, troubleshooting technical issues and guiding customers on best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers via email and live chat; own issues through resolution.

  • Troubleshoot technical platform issues and triage/diagnose platform health problems.

  • Advise customers on best practices and use cases; help translate feedback into product requirements.

Requirements

  • 1+ year in customer support or a customer-facing technical role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication (email + live chat daily).

  • Technical curiosity; APIs or SQL familiarity is a plus.

  • SaaS or ecommerce platform experience preferred.

  • Availability aligned to Eastern Time zone (plus occasional on-call/holiday rotation).

Experience & Education

  • 1+ years of experience in customer support or a customer-facing technical role
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

Compensation & Benefits

The expected compensation for this role $50,000 – $61,000/yr. + equity + benefits.
