GoodLeap, a technology company specializing in financing and software for sustainable home solutions, has posted a Remote Customer Care Advisor opening to their careers page.

In this role, you would initiate the sales process by building and managing prospect lists, generating qualified leads, and representing the company as a subject matter expert during customer calls. You would also provide customer support, document interactions, and help identify additional products that may fit customer needs.

Applicants should have at least three years of customer service and/or sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Previous solar-related customer service or sales experience is preferred.

The company is hiring from the US and the posted pay rate is $22 per hour.

The Customer Care Advisor is responsible for initiating the sales process by managing prospect lists, generating qualified leads, and serving as a knowledgeable representative for customers exploring sustainable home solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent GoodLeap as a subject matter expert during customer calls

  • Provide exceptional customer service using strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Offer additional GoodLeap products that may fit customer needs

  • Document all customer interactions in company systems

  • Handle issues with diplomacy to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Escalate concerns to management when appropriate

  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service and/or sales experience

  • Previous solar customer service or sales experience highly desired

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to display patience, empathy, and strong listening skills

  • Flexibility and comfort with change

  • Ability to accept coaching and feedback

  • Proven reliability and strong work ethic

Compensation & Additional Information

  • Pay: $22/hour

  • Full-time remote role
