Midi Health is a virtual healthcare provider focused on delivering insurance-covered care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. The company operates entirely through telehealth.
In this role, you’ll handle day-to-day medical billing operations, including claims troubleshooting, payer follow-ups, denial resolution, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure accurate billing and patient support. You’ll work primarily in Athena, helping resolve insurance issues and improve revenue cycle workflows.
This is a mid-career, contract role best suited for candidates with hands-on medical billing and collections experience, especially those familiar with telehealth environments. The position is fully remote, open to U.S.-based candidates, and follows standard weekday business hours. Shift time is Mon – Fri 11-7PM EST or 8-4:30 PST

Manage telehealth billing operations, claims resolution, and payer communications to support accurate insurance processing and patient billing.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve billing and insurance claim issues.
- Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and manage accounts receivable.
- Work within Athena to review, submit, and correct claims.
- Partner with clinical and support teams to resolve patient billing questions.
- Support billing audits and process improvement initiatives.
Relevant Experience & Skills
- Medical billing and collections experience.
- Experience with Athena or similar EHR/billing systems.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Familiarity with insurance payers and denial management.
- Experience supporting telehealth or healthcare services.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated compensation for this role is $23.00 – $25.00/hr.
